I have everything set to BitstreamPasthrough - DTS-HD MA and TrueHD work fine.

I have just upgraded my receiver and speaker setup to 5.1.4, but for some reason I can only get TrueHD when playing Atmos tracks on the HTPC (Atmos works fine on my standalone Blu-ray players).

I also tried AnyDVD on a disc, just incase MakeMKV files were bad but same thing.

Is there missing setting I am overlooking to enable Atmos Any help is appreciated.

Somewhere you are not passing the bitstream directly to the AVR either in KODIMPC-HCLAV or Windows.

I think the trial version of powerDVD wont bitstream, not sure.

By default PowerDVD wont bitstream either, their is a setting in the full version under audio to pass lossless audio.

Im starting to think this could be something on the receiver rather than the HTPC.

Ive set the sound mode back to how it was and now Atmos works fine on my HTPC.
